Lladro: from high porcelain to high fashion

Carlos Haro, a leading Spanish fashion designers  has unveiled his latest collection, the “Haute Couture collection”.  Carlos Haro‘s is known for his feminine and fashion forward designs which merging art with Haute Couture.

The collection toured London, Moscow, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Santiago de Compostela, Beverly Hills and  New York.

Rosa Lladro attended the unveiling of the collection at the Lladro Boutique in Manhattan.

The Haute Couture collection has 5 designs and is inspired by beautiful Lladró High Porcelain pieces: Great Dragon, Queen of the Nile, Cinderella’s arrival, Bridal carriage and Tea in the garden.

The collection pieces are made from various fabrics, including satin, serge, mikado, ottoman and organza silk, which reflect the shapes, colors and textures of the respective Lladro pieces.
